Bagobo Shield

Very big traditional war shield from the Bagobo tribe of Mindanao.

The shield is decorated with incised motifs in bi color and enforced with rattan strips.

It seems that one is missing.  Very good old patina.

The shield has one large crack, that is secured.

The top rim is renewed.
