Highly scarce old lion shaped box from Bali.

Finely carved detais with warm polychrome and patina.There are two iron rings to carry the box with rope.

There are two comparable boxes in the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam, one from the famous Liefkens collection and one on permanent display. ( see link)
