A good mandau , most likely from the baram border area ( Kenya/Kajan) in Sarawak.
The carved antler hilt with extra protrusion , closely to the"wild style" hilts what we see mostly in wood. The bone "shoulders" on the scabbard are also a not often seen feature. Nice hardwood scabbard with the ty
carved central rib in the scabbard what mainly seen on mandaus from above mentioned area. The blade is simple but strong and convex. Very nice sideknife and toggle with beadwork.
Size: 73 cm.
