​A very old figure from Nias or Batu Islands.

Scarce type representing a young warrior with helmet and plume.

His jacket in the style of the old leather war jackets ( Baru Oröba) that where in use before they where replaced by iron examples and later on by simple cotton jackets.

One leg is made separately and most likely this figure was a part of an ancestor altar.

Arms are gone for a long time, but still an impressive nice figure.

Remains of an iron mustache.

The patina is great.
