Bolo 

A scarce bolo from the Philippines.

Nice example of cross cultural influences of the Spanish on Philippine art.​

Very fine carved buffalo hilt crowned with a silver crown.

Silver ring above the brass ferule and blade with brass inlayed flowers.

original wooden scabbard with nice openworked front in floral style.

The tip , entrance and one side with silver decorations.

This openworked style was also fancy halfway the 19th century along the west coast of Borneo
