Dayak dance shield
A narrow dance shield from the Kenya or Kayan tribes.
The design and patina of this shield are the same as his bigger brothers made for war.
Especially the back with the two mythical creatures I haven't seen so well designed before.
The handle has already a native repair/replacement.
This example was collected on Borneo by a French geologist in the early '70's.
