A "mandau" from North Borneo with very nice carved scabbard , the central rib with fine detailed scrollwork. The  blade with engravings on both sides and brass dots.

Antler hilt ( one "leg" missing) with rattan wound grip and very fine silver ferrule. The end of the scabbard with human hair and hornbill feathers.White metal bands.
