A rare gayang from North Borneo made for a lefthanded Dayak warrior. The handle of carved antler with fine details ,human hairtuft and a spirit figure with a funny expression. The handle wrap is restored with old material.The non-convex blade in typical north Borneo style with scrollwork separated by brass dot sections. The blade is decorated on both sides. Carved scabbard with beautifull decorated details.
