An oldie from ( most likely) the West part of Borneo. The handle is a very curious example with a double pair of eyes, two four leaf propellor-like  protrusions. On each side the large inner circle. Note also the tiny triangular face at the bottom ! Curious also is the dot-pattern what is the same on handle and  the blade.  Very thick blade with earlier mentioned dot pattern made from fine laminated iron.  The scabbard is simple what is not unusual for this area.

Very interesting sword for a very reasonable price.
