Penai Minahasa

A Penai sword from North Sulawesi 

The long elegant horn handle is the old model that was also in use by the Minahasa 

​The crossed dragon motif on the scabbard is a typical symbol from the Minahasa , see also the crown ( WM - 492) from Minahasa in the Wereldmuseum in Leiden .

Old filled age crack on back of the handle. but overall in good condition.
