A very rare weapon from Nias with a very nice cast brass hilt. The crosspiece is in style between Si Euli and Javanese kris.

Long blade with very old patina in wooden scabbard. with brass work in old style.

Some damage and imperfections.

Provenance: It was owned by a 94 old lady who' was born in Indonesia. Her father was doctor in Sumatra.

This piece was known in the family as 

"The sword of the wizard."
