Extremely scarce headhunting sword from West Borneo ,Batang Lupar area.

This type is the original old war-sword that became out of use halfway the 19th century. Features of this design later inspired mandau makers who adopted the krowit ,bladecurving etc.

The antler hooked hilt with traditional floral motifs, the hilt is built up from thick brass rings. Very strong well balanced blade with on the spine incised lines and talismanic cross marks.

Original scabbard with renewed bands.
