A Mandau in a style we don't see often.

The abstract face grip sits just somewhat higher on the hilt than usual in combi with 

a very well carved scabbard with hidden bands, combining symmetric and a-symetric motifs.

Note the closed eye's on the hilt  with eyelashes and the little arms just below them.

The blade is always quite simple but well designed.

Some losses in rattanwork and sideknife scabbard missing.
