Sword from Rawas district 

With wooden hilt with the typical up curving nose. The grip covered decorated silver. Good laminated blade in original scabbard.

Very scarce as these types where used far before 1900. The only picture ( see below) known is taken during the Sumatra expedition 1877-1879 in the Jawas district ( between Palembang and Djambi)

restores in the silver grip, silver nose renewed.
