So called " Keris Majahapit" after the links with the kerisses

from the Majahapit kingdom around the 15th century.

This example is the very scarce " ancestor with earrings" type and comparable in style with

object 2338-8 of the National Museum of Ethnology in Leiden

with came into their collection in 1893. 

A very well made high quality example in good condition
